Privacy NoticeFormer Gogglebox sensation Sandi Bogle expressed her “disgust” at the fact that the murderers of her nephew remain free. Speaking to Sky News in 2022, she shared her ongoing grief for 23 year old Bjorn Brown and her “sick” feeling due to the lack of justice. Statistics from Sky News reveal that out of 350 unsolved murders in London over the last 20 years, which accounts for 12% of all homicides including shootings, stabbings, strangulations, and drownings, a staggering 55% of the victims were black or Asian. This has raised concerns about the disproportionate number of young black men falling prey to unresolved crimes in the city. Bjorn, who was a father, tragically lost his life after being stabbed in Croydon in March 2017, succumbing to his injuries five days later. Grime artist Stormzy, who grew up with Bjorn, honoured him with a minute’s silence during a concert. Despite a £20,000 reward and the release of CCTV footage showing two suspects, the attackers remain unidentified, with police still puzzled over the motive. Sandi lamented the lack of progress and the “wall of silence” surrounding her nephew’s case.

A distraught Sandi expressed her disgust to Sky News, stating: “It makes me sick to know that somebody might walk past me… and they know the person who has done it. It’s terrifying because [the killers] feel like they’ve got away with it so they could go and do it to somebody else.” She added: “I think it’s disgusting that after what they’ve done, they can still get away with it and still be out there running around, living their lives, like they’ve not done anything wrong. I really believe people out there know who has done it, but it’s always a wall of silence.”

If they’re out there thinking they will never be caught, their conscience and guilt and karma will catch up very, very soon because I will never stop looking.” Sandra Martin and Sandi teased fans that they will be making a return to TV after an 8 year hiatus. The pair first joined the show in 2013, with Sandi saying her goodbyes to the show in 2016 and Sandra following suit by stepping down a year later in 2017. Now, over a decade since they first became household names with their hilarious commentary, it seems the iconic pair is hinting at a comeback. Sandra told The Sun at the National Reality TV Awards: “To tell you the honest truth, I would rather us now be on Netflix at the moment.” But she didn’t stop there, getting the rumour mill churning even more by saying: “But you will be seeing us doing something together again in the future, reported the Express.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
