Privacy NoticeThe Traitors has announced an exciting new spin off as an Indian version of the hit show is all set to air next year. The series has already been a huge hit in the UK, with various international versions in Australia, United States, Canada, New Zealand and Sweden and now it’s heading to Asia. It will be hosted by critcially-acclaimed director Karan Johar, who has helmed many Hindi-language films, including My Name is Khan and most recently, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The description of the show reads: “Vying for the grand cash prize, 20 players will compete in the ultimate game of trust and deception, to unmask the traitors from amongst them.” It is said to be set inside a royal palace, unlike the UK and US versions, which are set at Andross Castle in Scotland. Nikhil Madhok, Head of Originals for Prime Video in India said: “Unscripted content continues to be a key focus for us at Prime Video, as we have witnessed an exponential growth in the consumption, attention, and appreciation for our unscripted Original library.
