Privacy NoticeThe stars of Loose Women are always guaranteed to bring a candid chat to our screens – and Denise Welch has taken it to a whole new level with her latest confession on the show. The actor and TV presenter revealed that she “regularly” wets herself whilst appearing on Loose Women after struggling with incontinence. In a cross-over advert between Loose Women and incontinence pad TENA Silhoutte, stars Nadia Sawalha, Kéllé Bryan and Denise Welch opened up about their own experiences with the issue. Denise admitted: “I have wet myself for as long as I can remember. Whether I cough, whether I sneeze, whether I laugh – I’ve always got through it by humour but some women are mortified by it.”

Nadiya added that she’s a “professional oversharer”, but the issue of incontinence was a tough one for her. “When bladder weakness hit in my late 30s after having the kids, I did feel embarrassed about it,” she said. Meanwhile, Kéllé spoke about how common the problem can be. “”Post baby it’s really common like if I’m in the gym bouncing around, I mean why don’t I just wear TENA!” she said. Towards the end of the chat, Denise admitted that she has suffered incontinence problems whilst filming the show. “Have I wet myself live on air?” she said. “Yes! Regularly!” Last week, Denise opened up about her stalker being released from prison early and how she felt ‘terrified’ after hearing the news. “I myself have a stalker who is in prison and is being released early. I am not allowed to see any of his mental health reports as regards to the progress of his mental health,” she said on Loose Women.

“When I asked ‘Will he be tagged?’ they said ‘Well, that depends if his team decides if that’s encroaching on his human rights. So this is what we’re dealing with in this country and I’m glad we’re talking about it. I feel really sorry for anyone who is now living in fear because of these releases.” Back in April, Toraq Wyngard, 64, was convicted of stalking that caused distress and was sent to prison for seven years and seven months. During the trial at Chester Crown Court, Denise engaged with the court via video link from America and expressed: “It has changed my life. I have a wonderful life and this man has permanently scarred it.” Loose Women airs weekdays at 12pm on ITV1Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
