Privacy NoticeMiles Nazaire, who rose to fame on reality show Made In Chelsea, is no stranger to sharing his body transformations on social media. It comes as sunny new MIC spin-off, Made in Bondi, is set to launch on E4 from Monday 23 September. The new series follows the real lives and relationships of a group of young Sydney socialites who live in the affluent Eastern suburbs of the Australian city, and spend their downtime on the famous Bondi Beach. A new show means a new cast, although Miles is expected to turn up for some of the episodes. The reality star, who shot to fame when he joined Made In Chelsea back in 2018 and became something of a lothario on the show, has previously shared gory behind-the-scenes photos after he underwent surgery on his nipples a few years ago.

It comes as no surprise that Miles isn’t shy when it comes to spilling the beans on having fat removed from behind his nipples and sharing graphic pictures online with his followers. Miles even gave fans a glimpse into his recovery process where he could be seen topless wearing bandages on his chest, before easing into working out again. When Miles started to focus more on his fitness and his body began to change shape, he noticed what he thought was stubborn fat behind his nipples.

However, in 2022, Miles revealed that it turned out to be a condition called gynaecomastia – a condition which results in extra breast tissue in men. Miles underwent two surgeries to try and fix the problem. Last year, he went into hospital again to have excess breast tissue removed for the third time and kept his Instagram followers updated the along the way. Following the operation, the reality star revealed that it had been a success and even went as far to show off the excess breast tissue that had been removed.

Alongside the gory snap, Miles wrote: “This is what they removed,” before joking: “Steak anyone?” Miles opened up about his condition in series of vlogs and told his followers, “What annoys me is, I’ve got really insecure about it.” Miles, who is most recently known for taking part in Dancing On Ice earlier this year, previously revealed that it was at the beginning of his television career that his “obsession” with his muscles began. However, what some may not know about the chiselled reality star is that he struggles with an ‘impossible’ health condition known as muscle dysmorphia which got so intense it led to disordered eating, depression, social isolation and plastic surgery.

Miles has admitted that he now understands that his obsession with the breast tissue was down to his muscle dysmorphia and he has finally accepted that perfection does not exist. Miles candidly opened up about his struggles in E4 documentary called ‘Obsessed With My Muscles’ in which he shared his own story and raised awareness about ‘Bigorexia.’ Dubbed bigorexia, muscle dysmorphia is a body dysmorphic disorder that mostly affects men who feel the pressure to appear more muscular. “Basically, I had a form of tissue, just where my nipples were, and it was bothering me for so many years,” confessed Miles.

“I got it removed. I wasn’t happy with the results of my first surgery, so I went back in for a second and after that I still wasn’t happy. It was at this point that I realised perfection doesn’t exist. I have to now live with the scars that I’m still unhappy with but I’m almost glad I went through it because it allowed me to get to a place where I am now – at peace with myself.” Speaking to Mail Online, the Dancing On Ice star previously admitted he felt stuck in a “perfection trap I couldn’t get out of.”

Discussing the toll his body image struggles took on his mental health and self confidence, he said: “I didn’t have sex for three months, no interest. It takes away a lot of things when you restrict yourself so much because you’re exhausted all the time. “I think a lot of people would say, ‘Don’t be silly, you must be the most competent guy in bed,’ but it got to a stage where I would have to pull the covers up, or do it in pitch black, or I would glance at myself in the mirror and be thinking, “I don’t look good being intimate with someone,” and that was really on my mind before a date.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
