MAFS UK star Charlie Curtis has been revealed to have already starred in another huge reality TV show – alongside none other than Hollywood’s Lindsay Lohan . Charlie, 30, joins the hit E4 dating show’s cast as a bride in its new ninth season. But, the lettings operation coordinator from Surrey previously found TV fame as a cast member of another reality dating show. Two years ago, Charlie starred in eight episodes of Amazon Prime dating series Lovestruck High, where 17 Brit singletons were sent to an American high school-type setting to live out their US fantasies and find love – and even heading back to their own prom, dates and all.

The series was narrated by US mega star Lindsay Lohan, 38, no stranger to an American high school herself, as the star of Mean Girls and Freaky Friday. The show culminated in prom night, where a prom king and queen would be crowned and share the cash prize of around £80,000. The 2022 reality series also starred Junaid Ahmed, 29, who went on to star in TOWIE after his stint on the American high school-set show. At the time, Charlie said she was up for returning to TV, telling Reality Titbit : “I love to talk to people, chat to people, I think I just want to maybe raise some money for charities and do stuff to help other people, that’s sort of where I want to go in my journey.” She added that the experience was “a learning curve.” Sign up to OK!’s daily newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free

She previously described herself as a “typical lesbian” who’d be “falling head over heels for the first person she saw.” Now, the new series of MAFS UK has seen Charlie marry wife Eve Reid, 31 – but the pairing has been far from wedded bliss. Wednesday’s episode saw the couple head to Mexico on their honeymoon – but growing tension throughout the holiday led to a seemingly relationship-ending argument on their last night, with Charlie saying she would not be returning for the rest of the experiment.

Charlie said: “I’ll be leaving the experiment. They’ll be no moving into any apartment, nothing – goodbye! I’ll just enjoy my evening – alone. Like I have done the whole f***ing honeymoon.” Charlie’s since shared pictures from her time on the show on Instagram, cheekily adding: “On the plus side, Mexico was beautiful, every cloud and all that.” At the same time, fellow new MAFS UK bride Emma Barnes has admitted what her honeymoon with husband Caspar Todd was really like, after the couple also argued on the getaway.
