Privacy NoticeGogglebox’s Pete Sandiford and his sister Sophie are back on Channel 4, catching up with the week’s TV. Viewers are keen to know more about Pete’s off-screen family life, having met his wife and kids. Pete first revealed his relationship with Paige Yeomans in 2020 via social media. Paige works as an emergency services call handler and holds a degree in English and linguistics. In 2021, Pete announced their engagement on Gogglebox and they tied the knot in May that year. By September, they had welcomed their first child, a son named Jimmy. Fast forward to June 2023, the couple introduced their second child, a baby girl named Eva Sylvie. Sharing a sweet snap of his newborn on Instagram, he wrote: “Myself and @paigesandiford_ would like to welcome the newest addition to our family, Eva Sylvie Sandiford.”

During one episode of Gogglebox, Pete shared a funny story with Sophie about losing his wedding ring. He said: “It’s just a weird out-of-body experience because my hand was lubed up with sun cream. I threw that ball, it just went whoof. Straight off.” Sophie remembered how Pete let his wife retrieve his ring from the water. “Paige nearly f****** drowned getting it back! ” she joked, while Pete added: “Well it’s her who wants me to have it on.” In a recent episode of Gogglebox, Pete Sandiford joked about how his wife Paige had been “doing his head in” with questions about their daughter Eva’s birthday. Despite the banter, the couple has been happily together for over five years. Interestingly, Pete also shares a familial connection with the famous Chuckle Brothers. He has previously mentioned Paul Chuckle, who later proudly declared himself a “proud uncle” to Pete and his sister Sophie. Pete once posted a throwback family photo featuring himself, Sophie, and the Chuckle Brothers, two weeks after Barry Chuckle’s death in August 2018. Accompanying the picture, he wrote, “We are lucky enough to call him Uncle Barry.”
