Coronation Street star Helen, 34, posted a candid video of herself sharing a steamy kiss with Hollyoaks star Emma Rigby as the two soap stars headed out on the town to celebrate Emma’s birthday. Helen looked glamourous in a black fitted dress with sheer sleeve detailing while Emma, who made her high profile return as Hannah Ashworth on Hollyoaks last year before recently quitting the show this summer, looked as glam as ever in an off-the-shoulder ruched dress.

The good pals both had their blonde locks cascading down their backs. The snippet of their smooch, which was posted on Helen’s Instagram Story with her 1.1 million followers, showed the pair in the toilets together as they adorably cosied up for the short clip. Helen also took the opportunity to share a string of throwback snaps of her and Emma’s friendship over the years. One pap shot showed the pair looking unrecognisable from years ago while she also posted a shot from their most recent night out. Captioning one of the photos with a laughing face emoji, Helen wrote: “love you”, and tagged Emma. The birthday night out comes after Helen recently hit back at trolls who cruelly commented on photos she originally posted on Instagram that featured her posing in a pale blue bikini at the Celebs Go Dating finale pool party.

The former Coronation Street star shared a stunning photo with her followers in which she was standing with new partner Robbie Talbot and captioned it “Love this pic.” She also noted that she thought they looked “like an older parent version of a Love Island couple,” before adding: “We did get some odd comments though.” She then included two screen grabs as part of her Story, which featured harsh comments from people that began when one asked: “Baby vibes?” and then was followed by others remarking on her shape. One even dared to ask: “You don’t look as thin as normal. Are you preggers?” The actress and reality star hit back with another bikini photo, taken by a swimming pool. She wrote alongside it: “I’m a UK size 6, if I’ve started to put weight on it’s because maybe I’m happier and not anxious and worked up all the time so eating more.” She added: “I’m really proud of my body, it’s given me three beautiful children.”

Helen split from fiancé Scott Sinclair, 35, who she shares three children with in 2022. Helen has recently spoken about her new relationship with Robbie, who she began seeing early in 2024, at around the same time she signed up for Celebs Go Dating. Eventually, she invited him to appear with her on the series after she revealed she was seeing him secretly while filming, even though she says reality TV is not something that interests him. Meanwhile fellow actress Emma, who originally appeared in Hollyoaks as Hannah from 2005 to 2010, recently resigned from the soap back in June following her high profile return last year. According to The Sun, Emma quit after producers decided to drastically reduce the number of cast members and the number of episodes. When Emma returned to the series in November 2023, Hollyoaks aired five nights a week, but now there is just three 20 minute episodes per week and a reduced cast and crew as 135 staff have lost their jobs. A source told The Sun: “It just wasn’t working out for Emma. She agreed a long-term return with certain expectations but that all changed.
