Privacy Notice My Mum, Your Dad – the hit dating show for mid-life singles – wraps up on TV on Friday, 27 September. Davina McCall has again been presiding over things as host, while a group of single contestants stay at a plush country retreat, on the hunt for love. Davina, 55, has enjoyed a long-standing career in television, having first shot to fame on MTV in the 90s and now known as the original host of Big Brother, a judge on The Masked Singer as well as her much-loved dating show, which sees people’s children help to matchmake their parents, behind the scenes. And according to Celebrity Net Worth, Davina has amassed quite a lot following her successful career and is worth around £4m, likely due to her extensive TV work as well as being the face of several brands. She currently serves as a brand ambassador for Garnier and retail giant JD Williams, alongside her friend, BGT judge Amanda Holden.

And it’s clear the TV host has an entrepreneurial spirit. Davina, who won a special recognition award at this year’s National Television Awards, has said she is considering turning her hit series My Mum, Your Dad into an entire business empire. The 56-year-old admitted that she would love to launch My Mum, Your Dad-themed retreats, for those seeking love. She said: “We should actually do My Mum, Your Dad retreats as a commercial venture.” Despite being happily coupled up, she confessed she’d be tempted to join in herself if she were single: “I would have a go, if I wasn’t in a relationship.”

Davina’s boyfriend, meanwhile, is hairdresser Michael Douglas, who featured alongside her in the 2023 series of Celebrity Gogglebox. The star previously revealed that she and Michael, 47, who works as a celebrity stylist, had an agreement not to publicly discuss their relationship, the presenter confiding to OK! magazine, “We’ve got an agreement that I don’t talk about our relationship, because our exes and kids don’t have a right to reply, so it’s not fair.” Recently, however, the presenter did admit that marriage for the pair is ‘off the cards’. Davina parted ways with her former husband Matthew Robertson in 2017, and together they co-parent their three children – Holly, aged 21, Tilly, 19, and Chester, 16. Michael started doing Davina McCall’s hair when her Big Brother career first began. He was Davina’s hairdresser for 20 years before love blossomed, and they publicly got together in the summer of 2019.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
