Privacy Notice Actor, TV presenter and comedian Paddy McGuinness surprised viewers of Celebrity Juice when he revealed he had gone under the knife when he was younger. During a lighthearted discussion about plastic surgery on the comedy show in 2022, the Lancashire star told host Keith Lemon that he wouldn’t know what surgery to have “as a man.” Keith jokingly suggested his ears, and Paddy shocked the audience when he replied: “Oh I’ve had them done. I used to have massive sticking out ears and I always had a problem with it.” However, he went on to say that things didn’t go exactly as planned. “The surgeon who did it, I thought, ‘There’s something not right with these,’ and about two years later, Panorama’s on, doing an exposé on rogue surgeons – he’s on it!’”

In early 2023, Paddy took to social media to address new rumours that were flying around that he had undergone cosmetic surgery abroad over the Christmas break. Paddy, 50, who has been a presenter on shows like Top Gear and Question of Sport, is about to embark on a UK stand up tour that starts with a series of warm up shows from Saturday 28 September. Chatting with Tony Bellew on the podcast Club Bellew, he revealed he would be talking about his relationship with ex-wife Christine and their children for the first time on stage. “This tour will be slightly different from past tours. I’m planning to talk about things I have never talked about on tour, for instance having children with autism,” he said. “I’m divorced now, so that will come into it. It’s been eight years since my last tour and there’s lots of things to laugh about. I’m looking forward to getting back in front of a live audience, along with running the gauntlet of cancel culture, click bait and fake news.” Paddy and Christine separated after 11 years of marriage in 2022. The couple share three children, twins Leo and Penelope, and younger daughter Felicity.
