Privacy NoticeStrictly Come Dancing enthusiasts were left gobsmacked after spoilers surfaced online this weekend, dropping the bombshell about who faced an axing this week. With the dance-off result, which typically follows Saturday’s live extravaganza, intended to remain under wraps until Sunday (September 29) night’s reveal, the BBC’s attempts at secrecy seem futile with leaks sprouting annually since 2012. In keeping with tradition, this week’s ousted celeb’s identity was spilt on the web – something which we will keep under wraps to avoid spoilers. The informant behind the leak couldn’t resist a tease, saying: “Here we are with the first Strictly Spoiler of the series. The field looks wide open at the moment but unfortunately we have lost our first member of the class of 2024. The BBC might want you to wait to learn the results but I’m happy to tell you that: [reveals who has left]”, reports the Daily Star.

“Woah was not expecting that at all…. Either they messed up badly in the dance off or the other contestant improved dramatically in the dance off….,” one viewer commented, evidently taken aback by the twist. Another fan was shocked, saying: “I am genuinely stunned. ? must really have messed up in the dance off because ? being saved over ? makes no sense to me. ? shouldn’t have been in the dance off to begin with.” [celebrity’s name replaced with ‘?’]

Another viewer was left scratching their head: “Did ? fall over in the dance off or something? ” Meanwhile, Toyah Willcox turned heads this week as she brushed off being this year’s oldest contestant – confidently saying: “I will be showing a cougar this week. I am trying to be a MILF.” However, the singer’s Tango to Madonna’s ‘Ray Of Light’ with partner Neil Jones didn’t impress the judges, earning them just 12 points. Tom Dean, the Olympic swimmer, faced a hiccup during his performance when his partner Nadiya’s costume got caught, but he managed to keep going. While JB Gill from JLS wowed everyone with a magical Waltz to Leo Sayer’s ‘When I Need You’ with Amy Dowden, earning them a high score of 31 points. Chris McCausland and his partner Dianne Buswell danced to Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy during the shows second week – raking in an impressive 29 points out of 40 and earning heaps of acclaim. Judge Anton Du Beke paid particular attention to Chris’ impressive timing. Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
