Liam reportedly blamed his boyband past for leaving him “f**ked up”A woman has shared her shocking encounter with former One Direction star Liam Payne, revealing that he confessed to being “f***ed up” due to his boyband past. The 31 year old singer was staying at a luxury hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, when he tragically fell from his third-floor balcony on October 16. The fan, known only as Rebecca, described how Liam seemed desperate for recognition, announcing himself to uninterested guests and using an accessibility setting on his laptop that narrated his emails out loud. She recalled him suddenly becoming upset, shouting “‘f**k this s**t mate!” and smashing his computer on the ground.

Concerned by his erratic behaviour, Rebecca asked if he was okay, to which he responded: “I used to be in a boyband. That’s why I’m so f**ked up.” Shocked at his admission, she saw him get back in the lift, before a “British guy” apologised to the group “on his behalf,” saying Liam “gets so high” sometimes. The witness said he appeared to be on drugs, and was acting in an “aggressive” way, but not towards anyone, reports the Mirror. She added that he fell over when he returned to the lobby, with staff helping him in to the lift. Half an hour later, emergency services arrived after Liam had fallen from his balcony, on the third floor of the Casa Sur hotel. Authorities in Argentina have released further information this morning, following his death. Reports indicate the musician “jumped from the balcony” of his hotel room in Argentina, causing him to plunge to his death, seemingly dispelling any notions of an accidental fall or foul play. The devastating incident occurred during Liam’s holiday in Buenos Aires with girlfriend Kate Cassidy, which included supporting ex-bandmate Niall Horan at a concert.

An initial autopsy reported that Liam suffered “multiple traumas” resulting in “internal and external bleeding”. His former One Direction bandmates have expressed their heartbreak, calling Liam their “brother” and sharing that they are “devastated” by his passing. In a heartfelt tribute, Louis, Zayn, Niall, and Harry stated: “We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say. But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly. “We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing.
