Privacy NoticeNatalie Ann Jamieson, who plays Amy Wyatt in Emmerdale, might have just had her own on-screen wedding. But apparently off-screen, she has no intention of marrying her boyfriend – for good reason. Natalie has been dating her boyfriend, Ali Ward for 14 years, but says she won’t be walking down the aisle anytime soon. Speaking to The Mirror, Natalie said: “I am a very practical person and I’ve always thought I wouldn’t opt for a traditional white wedding dress, but rather one that I can wear again. When people tell me how much they have spent on a wedding, I think, ‘You could probably go around the world twice with the amount of money involved’.”

It wasn’t just Natalie that thinks the money would be better spent elsewhere, she says her boyfriend agrees. Natalie’s boyfriend Ali even made a joke about her popping the question before heading to film her on-screen wedding this year. Natalie laughed: “It’s funny as leap day fell on the day before I was filming my Emmerdale wedding. I replied, ‘They’ve just been saying on the news how it’s a really outdated tradition. Besides, I am getting married tomorrow at Emmerdale . One wedding is enough for now.”

Tragedy struck shortly afterwards when Matty was jailed after stabbing Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) – but luckily he’s since been released. Luckily, Natalie’s life is a lot less dramatic and Amy tends to keep her personal life away from the spotlight. The soap star doesn’t talk much about who she’s dating, but now and then, she lets us peek at her cute moments with her boyfriend on Instagram. On social media, Natalie posted lots of snaps with her other half, she wrote: ”What a lovely Summer. So happy we got this extra week of sunshine coz I’m not ready to let it go yet – if we’re lucky we might squeeze another one! Although winter doesn’t mean the fun stops does it?! My first 20 pic dump It’s a goodie!”.

Along with snaps of Ali, Natalie also shared pictures of her spending time with her co-stars, Jurell Carter (Nate Robinson), Eden Taylor-Draper (Belle Dingle), Emma Atkins (Charity Dingle) and Jeff Hordley (Cain Dingle). In another snap, Natalie posed with her on-screen hubby Ash, as well as Louise Jameson (Mary Goskirk), and Beth Cordingly (Ruby Fox-Miligan).
