Privacy Notice Ruth Langsford dazzled viewers with her stunning comeback to the This Morning sofa, looking fabulous in a silver sparkly gown. The beloved Loose Women star rejoined the scene alongside three fellow panellists on Monday, September 30. They were there to mark an impressive 25 years of the show’s success on ITV, and enjoyed a chat with the current This Morning hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley. Ruth famously co-hosted This Morning with her estranged husband Eamonn Holmes on Fridays and provided holiday cover for the former presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby as well as sharing the sofa with her pal Rylan Clark.

After the surprise announcement of their separation back in May, GB News host Eamonn has since been spotted soaking up the sun on a getaway with his new love interest, reports the Mirror. Despite her history on the set, Ruth’s return to This Morning was anything but uncomfortable as she joked and laughed with her Loose Women co-stars. There was no mention of her time on This Morning. Pointing towards Ruth and Coleen, Ben said: “The two of you have been on it (Loose Women) from the beginning? ” Ruth added: “And Jane.” Ben inquired about the show’s longevity, adding: “Did you think when you did that first ever show it would still be going 25 years on? ” Jane replied with a hint of surprise: “No it was only commissioned for four weeks – at the end of the four weeks we all went ‘bye’. It was really lovely, what fun and then it got recommissioned and it just kept coming back.” The ladies had a laugh over their fancy coordinated silver outfits to celebrate the shows quarter-century milestone, with Coleen quipping, “I got on the train like this!” Meanwhile, Phillip Schofield is gearing up for his grand return to our screens on Channel 5’s documentary, Phillip Schofield Cast Away, which is set to launch on Monday, September 30.
