The online retail giant is selling a 1-litre bottle of the popular Irish cream liqueur for £13, down from its usual price of £22. Described as ‘the sweetest meeting of fine Irish whiskey and spirits, Irish dairy cream, rich chocolate and vanilla flavours’, Baileys is perfect as a standalone drink or served over ice cream for a sophisticated twist. Besides Amazon, the 1-litre bottle is also available at Tesco for £22, at Sainsbury’s for £21.95 and Asda for £13 – though it is worth mentioning if you are a Clubcard or Nectar card owner, these prices may vary. With a rating of 4.9 out of 5 by over 14,000 Amazon customers and 8,000 purchases in the past month alone, it’s clear that this is a best-selling product. In fact, 90 per cent of reviewers have given it a full 5 stars, reports MyLondon. One thrilled shopper shared their excitement: “Purchasing Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur at a price cheaper than supermarkets is a fantastic find. The quality and taste are just as excellent as ever, making it a great value for money. If you come across this deal, don’t hesitate to take advantage of it. Enjoying the creamy, smooth taste of Baileys without the usual price tag is a delightful experience.” Another customer called it ‘the perfect Christmas gift,’ saying: “You can’t go wrong with this delicious liqueur around the holidays, and for this price, it’s a wonderful present for others in the family. I order this every year for my mum and every year she enjoys it. It’s a great quality spirit and comes in a cute bottle.” Yet, not all feedback was glowing. A dissatisfied buyer remarked: “I like the idea of cream liqueurs but they always end up being a bit sickly for me.
