The devastating news was made public on Wednesday, revealing that Liam had suffered a fatal accident while vacationing in Buenos Aires with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy, falling from the third floor of a hotel. Liam, who rose to global fame as one part of the iconic boyband after their formation on The X Factor in 2011 under Simon Cowell’s guidance, alongside Harry, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Niall Horan, left an indelible mark on the music scene. On Thursday, October 17, Harry took to Instagram to share his heartache, writing: “I am truly devastated by Liam’s passing. His greatest joy was making other people happy, and it was an honour to be alongside him as he did it.”

He continued: “Liam lived wide open, with his heart on his sleeve, he had an energy for life that was infectious. He was warm, supportive, and incredibly loving. The years we spent together will forever remain among the most cherished years of my life. I will miss him always, my lovely friend. My heart breaks for Karen, Geoff, Nicola and Ruth, his son Bear, and all those around the world who knew and loved him, as I did.” In a heartbreaking incident this week, Liam tragically fell from the third floor of a hotel building in Argentina’s capital. Emergency services, including police, firefighters and ambulances, were spotted outside the hotel following the fall, reports the Mirror.

Reports suggest that authorities were called to the scene due to reports of a man behaving aggressively, possibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs. A body was discovered in the hotel’s internal patio. The hotel manager is said to have alerted the police. Alberto Crescenti, a spokesperson for the City ambulance service, stated that he had fallen around 40 metres, suffering “severe injuries which were incompatible with life.” In a statement, the local ambulance manager told TN: “At 17.04 through the 911 integrated public safety system, we were alerted of a person who was in an internal courtyard of the management of a south house hotel. “At 17.11 a SAME team arrived and verified the death of this man and later we found out that he was a singer in a musical group. Unfortunately, he had injuries that were incompatible with life, as a result of his fall, so we had to confirm his death, there was no possibility of resuscitation.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
