Former This Morning host Phillip Schofield has a close relationship with his two grown up daughters, Ruby and Molly, who shares the girls with his wife of 30 years, Stephanie Lowe. While Phillip, 61, tends to keep his family life out of the spotlight, he has occassionally mentioned his daughters – and they are featured on his Channel 5 three-parter Cast Away.Amid his affair scandal, which sparked his departure from This Morning and ITV, he explained how Ruby and Molly had looked after him and managed to keep him from the brink. He explained: “I am in a very bad way. Mentally, utterly, utterly broken. And if it hadn’t been for my girls last week I wouldn’t be here. I know I deserve it but they said, ‘Don’t you dare, we’re here to look after you.’“I’ve had such a s**t couple of years, and with this ultimate final cataclysm, I looked ahead at nothing and the girls said, ‘Don’t, we are here to look after you. Don’t you dare do it on our watch.'”The TV presenter said his daughters’ grounding words also took him “one step back” and helped him realise he still has the love and support of those he loves most.
