Privacy Notice After recently stepping down from her lucrative In The Style job to prioritise her family, Stacey Solomon has reportedly quit another huge project. It’s believed that Stacey, 34, will be saying goodbye to her Channel 4 show Renovation Rescue, where she helps homeowners salvage their half-built houses after being left stranded by their builders. The star has been involved with a number of brands since rising to fame on The X Factor in 2009 and also presents Sort Your Life Out on BBC, bagging a National Television Award for the show last month. A source said of her departure: “Stacey had a great time making Renovation Rescue but the fact she isn’t doing a second series allows her to focus on her projects with the Beeb.” They added to The Sun: “They’ve been a huge success and the NTA win is evidence that the viewing public love what she does.”

Last month, mum-of-five Stacey announced that she’d no longer be working with fashion brand In The Style after becoming an ambassador in 2021. Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “Today has been a wonderful but emotional day as I shot my LAST EVER collection for InTheStyle. I have loved every single second of being able to design & create clothing with the most incredible team & literally bring my dreams to life.” Stacey, who is mum to Belle, one, Rose, two, and Rex, five, with husband Joe Swash, as well as sons Leighton, 12, and Zachary, 16, from previous relationships, added that she left the role to focus on her family. “Throughout this year I’ve thought a lot about work/family balance & things that have needed to be prioritised,” she explained. “So I’ve decided to say goodbye to In The Style and other things so that I can give more of myself back to my family. We wanted to end on a high, so this last collection has every bit of love we could possibly give it & it only felt right to end it in my favourite season.”

In May, she said her dream was to quit TV work all together to become a stay-at-home mum, saying she only wants to take on work she can mostly do from home apart from the occasional “passion project”. It comes after Stacey concerned fans when she was noticeably missing from Loose Women’s 25th anniversary celebrations. To mark the milestone, the ITV show released a new silver jubilee-inspired portrait featuring 18 of the show’s panellists. However, despite joining the show in 2016, Stacey wasn’t included in the image. Stacey stepped back from the panel as she prepared to give birth to her daughter Belle and has only made a few fleeting returns since. While she hasn’t commented on her absence from the photo, she sent a video message, saying: “Happy birthday to you, Loose Women. I can’t believe you’re 25 years old and I can’t believe I get to call myself a Loose Woman, I’m such a proud Loose Woman! 25 incredible years and so many more to come. Love you loads and loads.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
