Privacy NoticeA Place in the Sun presenter Laura Hamilton couldn’t contain her frustration in a recent showing when she exclaimed, “Oh no”. Channel 4’s hit show A Place in The Sun delighted viewers yet again on Wednesday (October 2) with the ever-energetic Laura Hamilton leading the charge. In her latest quest, Laura found herself in sunny Malaga, helping sisters Sheila and Jean hunt for their dream vacation home with a wishlist of two bedrooms and an ample-sized balcony. Disappointment struck as soon as Jean and Sheila stepped into the first option Laura had lined up; their displeasure was undeniable. Reading their expressions, Laura let out: “Oh no! The face says it all!” As they scrutinised the property, both sisters were in sync, feeling that the decor was a touch passe and sharing dissatisfaction over the cramped main living space lacking the desired dining area. In addition, the much-anticipated large balcony fell short of expectations. Laura attempted to look on the bright side, hinting that an alfresco lifestyle might render an indoor dining space unnecessary, reports the Mirror.

However, later in the episode, Laura leveled with the audience: “If you want a roof terrace or outside balcony, something will have to give.” With £120,000 at their disposal, Sheila and Jean had set their sights, but viewers wondered if their budget was realistic for what they wanted in that particular locale. One viewer took to social media platform X and vented: “Stop moaning about what the apartment doesn’t have and start thinking about your minuscule budget…. Or look for something further north where your money goes considerably further.” Another chimed in: “Don’t think they’re getting that their budget isn’t going to get all their wants.”

At the end of the episode, Laura had a heart-to-heart with the sisters to find out if any of the five properties they viewed tickled their fancy. Sadly, despite house number four catching their eye, Shelia and Jean chose not to put an offer on any of the properties. Expressing her disappointment, Laura confessed she felt “disappointed”. Viewers at home shared her sentiment. One disgruntled fan ranted: “What a total waste of an hour of our time. While another echoed: “Pair of time wasters.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
