Privacy Notice Ahead of its hotly anticipated return, we were granted access to the iconic Big Brother house and it is shaping up nicely for the housemates’ arrival. After a five year gap, the show thrilled fans by returning to screens last year. ITV picked up the reality series, which had previously been aired on Channel 4 before moving to Channel 5 in 2011, with Will Best and AJ Odudu taking the hosting mantle. Before the contestants set foot in the house, here is a look at the not-so-humble abode and our prediction of the spots that will see the most drama this season.

One of the busiest areas of the house, the living room, has its own mix of pink and blue furniture, with plush mustard yellow sofas.

As for the perfect hubs for gossip and drama, the house has plenty. We suspect the bedroom will be the biggest hotspot for scandalous whispers., especially since it has a central double bed separate from the others.

The mezzanine level room will likely see plenty of serious chats as it is one of the most secluded places in the house. This year, it is dotted with faux plants and throw cushions, as well as a long white sofa.

The bathroom is another hideaway we predict will see secret chats between castmates and it has ample room. Aside from the bathtub and the shower, it also houses pink arm chairs and sitting nooks.

The final corner that will no doubt fuel drama flames is the hot tub – it sits out in the garden, which has a new paint-dripping feature wall.

The official BBUK X account released images of the house on Friday (October 4) and fans were quick to share their excitement for the new design. One commented: “I gotta say I am loving the new Big Brother house, the set design is really giving and it is honestly so aesthetically pleasing to look at.” Another chimed in: “This is one of my favourite designs for a Big Brother house woah.” And a third simply wrote: “Wow this is so gorgeous.” While the beds are still empty, 16 new housemates will be entering the house this Sunday ready to spend six weeks under the watchful eye of Big Brother.
