Privacy Notice Britain’s largest family, the Radfords, are enjoying another holiday just weeks after they returned from a sunny Florida cruise. This time mum Sue and dad Noel have taken their kids on a UK mini break in a campervan, with Sue sharing photos of their luxury motorhome on Instagram on Friday 4 October before the family set off on their trip. The campervan won’t fit the whole family, of course, but the motorhome, reportedly worth £40,000, boasts a large amount of seating that can be converted into beds for six of the Radfords’ children. It also has a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, and a kitchen with oven and hob, plus a table and another bed over the front driver’s and passenger’s seat.

Sue posted a photo of the parked van with children’s bicycles scattered around, and later added footage of her younger children playing in a park and poking their heads out of the motorhome’s window. The family, who do not rely on any benefits, have drawn criticism for their numerous holidays, and only recently returned from their 19th holiday this year – a visit to the theme parks in Florida and a trip on the Disney cruise ship Fantasy. Fifteen members of the family enjoyed the cruise, with Sue sharing a video of their three adjoining rooms with connecting balconies, at a cost of nearly £4000 a night, as well as the Disney-themed facilities on the ship. In their book, The Radfords: Making Life Count, Sue revealed that people have joked about her family, saying they “go to Florida more times than I go to the shops.” She added: “I think it just boils down to jealousy. I have the mindset now – particularly since I lost my dad – that if you can afford to go on a holiday, then go. Life is too short, so just do it.” Sign up to OK!’s TV newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free

Noel and Sue, who are parents to 22 children and live in Morecambe where they run a bakery business, went on to defend their lifestyle in their book. “We don’t claim benefits, the pie company is very successful and so is our media business. “We work hard but we’re not millionaires. The nastiness is upsetting though. We just want to be able to give our children the best possible life.” They also opened up about the challenges of communication in such a bustling household. Sue revealed: “I am sure there must be couples who are able to ring each other up during the day to discuss various things about their kids, Noel and I don’t really speak when he’s at work and I’m at home because we never have the time.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
