Privacy NoticeStrictly Come Dancing fans were left shocked after a ‘spoiler’ revealed which celebrity and pro dancer ended up getting sent home after Movie Week. Unlike many reality TV shows, Strictly is susceptible to its secrets leaking out because the results show is pre-recorded on Saturday night in front of the same studio audience who watch the live show, but is not broadcast until Sunday evening. Most viewers wait until the second Strictly show is broadcast on BBC One to find out the results but since 2012 an account has been posting the results of which two stars wound up in the dance-off and who was ultimately sent home by the judges – presumably to the frustration of the producers of the TV broadcast.

In the event fans have been divided by the identity of the axed celeb named by the spoiler account (which we’re not going to repeat) with some branding it “the correct decision” while others fumed that one of their favourites would no longer appear in the BBC series. One wrote: “After this spoiler I’m even more annoyed.” It was an eventful week on Strictly – not least because there was no Nick Knowles, with the given a week off after suffering yet another injury. There were mis-steps from several stars in the cast, including Pete Wicks and Jowita, who got caught up in what judge Craig Revel-Horwood referred to as a “trip hazard”. However, others were universally praised for their performances, not least Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Škorjanec, who did a Barbie-inspired dance to What Was I Made For, which was branded “absolutely incredible”. The scores from Strictly’s Movie Week were as follows: Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec – 34 Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola – 33 Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu – 33 Dr Punam Krishan and Gorka Márquez – 33 JB Gill and Amy Dowden – 32 Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell – 30 Sam Quek and Nakita Kuzmin – 30 Wynne Evans and Katya Jones – 30 Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas – 30 Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe – 28 Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal – 26 Paul Merson and Karen Hauer – 19 Toyah Willcox and Neil Jones – 15 Sign up to OK!’s daily newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for freeStory SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
