Privacy NoticeDoctor Who fans, get ready for a thrilling treat! Four iconic figures from the beloved TV show are coming together for a fresh spin-off. Peter Davison is set to return as the Fifth Doctor, lending his voice to a new audio series titled The Fifth Doctor Adventures: Hooklight. The BBC audio series will be divided into two parts, with the story unfolding over 12 episodes. Peter will be joined by fellow show stars Janet Fielding (who portrayed Tegan), Sarah Sutton (Nyssa) and Matthew Waterhouse (Adric), as reported by RadioTimes. The plot of the series goes like this: “There is a light that must never be lit… When the TARDIS runs aground in the ancient realm of Morning, the Doctor learns that a powerful force has re-emerged. A lamp filled with a mythical substance known as Hooklight has been discovered and this could mean the end of everything.

Doctor Who is also expanding its universe with an all-new spin-off series titled ‘The War Between the Land and Sea’, which is currently under production. Fans got a first taste of this thrilling new project at Comic-Con earlier in the year after tons of fan-driven speculation. The wheels started turning on pre-production back in August, and show creator Russell T Davies couldn’t contain his excitement, taking to Instagram to share the buzz with fans. Russell shared a tantalising glimpse on Instagramthe script’s top section visible alongside a placard with his name, teasing the presence of other cast and crew. In a post buzzing with anticipation, Russell exclaimed: “Day One. The war begins. Readthrough day for all 5 episodes of THE WAR BETWEEN THE LAND AND THE SEA.” (sic) The enthused caption continued: “So much excitement. What a cast!
