Privacy Notice Things have never looked very rosy between Married at First Sight newlyweds Polly and Adam, with the 35 year old barber repeatedly mentioning that he felt no spark with his careers advisor bride. While the couple are still together in the first of this week’s episodes of the dating series, one hint that they may have split is the news that Polly, 28, has listed her wedding dress from the show on Vinted. Polly has put her Justin Alexander off-the-shoulder lace gown for sale for £1,600. The listing reads: “Brand new Justin Alexander 2024. US 14. UK 16 but has been altered to size and can be altered again. Can include veil.”

In Wednesday 9 October’s episode, with the couple still trying to make things work, it was Polly and Adam’s turn to meet friends and family. Polly brought her best friend Alfie to their apartment, where Adam had cooked up an interesting dish of curried chicken, rice and chips for them and his friend Richard. Alfie was understandably critical of Polly’s husband, as Alfie was the one who Adam had shocked on the wedding day, telling him that Polly wasn’t the type of woman he usually dated. “She’s not my usual type. My ex partners have been girls with dark hair. I normally go with girls that I think, ‘Oh my God, I think you’re unreal’.” However, Polly has recently defended Adam, pointing out on her social media that viewers only see an edited version of what goes on between any couple. “Just to remind everyone: You see MINUTES of an entire day. A lot deeper connections were had off camera (mostly in bed where Adam would tell me to be quiet so we could actually sleep). It’s hard talking to someone about your feelings, especially to a stranger. There are two sides to everything.” Sign up to OK!’s TV newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free

She added: “Both people have insecurities in a relationship with different love languages. We have no control over what they show.” By the end of Wednesday’s episode, things were looking reasonably positive for the couple, as Polly and Adam revealed to the other MAFS brides and grooms that they had become closer over recent days. That was more than could be said of honeymooning couple Hannah and Stephen, who spent a week in the Dominican Republic yelling at each other. By the end of the same episode, Stephen was unsure how he felt about his new bride and had spent two nights apart from her, saying: “I need to clear my head,” following a series of fiery arguments, including one in which she threatened to reveal a secret on camera he had told her in confidence.
