Privacy NoticeBritain’s Got Talent guest judge KSI became emotional as he discussed his personal struggles on BBC’s The One Show. The 31-year-old YouTube star, who will fill in for Bruno Tonioli on the ITV talent show, revealed that his music showcases the highs and lows of his life, including a more vulnerable side. KSI’s voice cracked as he shared: “My music shows different stages of my life, the ups and downs. With Low, it is more of a personal song and I show a more personal side to me.” He explained that as a public figure, he finds it tough to express his feelings and balance his work and private life. The rapper, whose real name is Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, confessed: “I struggle with expressing how I feel in terms of being the public figure that I am. There are a lot of things that I have to deal with in terms of juggling my work life with my private life and making sure my private life isn’t too out there.”

KSI also spoke candidly about seeking therapy, saying: “I’m happy to admit that I’ve been to see a therapist in my life and I know there’s a stigma about going to therapy and being seen as weak but it isn’t and I see it as being strong.” He emphasized the importance of prioritizing mental health, stating: “It is good to make sure that you are physically fit and also mentally fit. I’d say if you are having problems especially mentally, it’s ok to talk to someone about it,” reports Wales Online. KSI opened up about his guest stint on Britain’s Got Talent, filling in for Bruno Tonioli. He shared: “I’m keeping Bruno’s seat warm and I’m only there for a few episodes.”

Discussing his expectations for the talent he’ll encounter, KSI expressed: “I’m looking for incredible talent and I know the UK is full of it. I’m excited to take it all in. A lot of people think I’m going to be a tough critic because I come from the online world.” When probed about what would catch his eye on the show, KSI revealed: “Honestly I have no idea but I just know there is going to be good content and good people who will come in with good talent. Either way it’s going to be great and I can’t wait for it.” The One Show continues weekdays from 7pm on BBC One and iPlayer Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
