Privacy NoticeAntiques Road Trip has been a hit with viewers since it first began back in 2010. The popular BBC One daytime show sees a team of experts setting off on a road trip around the UK as they search for treasures and compete to make the most money at auction. One of those experts is Ishy Khan, who is kicking off his final leg in Heanor, Derbyshire, this week alongside fellow expert Natasha Raskin Sharp. Ishy, 33, is an antiques expert and dealer with over 12 years of experience working in the jewellery industry. He joined the series last year, calling it an “incredible experience”.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “My first road trip with the amazing @izziedot It was an incredible experience working with so many brilliant people and seeing so many interesting things. Thank you to everyone who has watched and sent messages – it means a lot!” Away from the show, Ishy runs an antique and contemporary jewellery company in London called Ishy Antiques, sourcing unique jewellery for clients. The website reads: “We specialise in fine, antique and vintage jewellery. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and attention to detail. We source beautiful and unique jewellery for our clients and other members of the trade. We can be visited at our London office by appointment or in the USA at select trade shows.”

When he’s not working, it appears that he enjoys travelling the world, with the star often sharing glam snaps from his trips on social media. In 2022, he jetted off to America, visiting Miami, Vegas, Palm Springs, Los Angeles and New York. Other places he’s been to include Naples, Budapest, Sicily and Phuket. Ishy lives in Surrey with his adorable dog Mila, a three-year-old Bichonaranian – a mix between a Bichon Frise and Pomeranian. He often brings the pup to work with him, writing in one Instagram picture: “Another week of buying jewellery with my fluffy side kick.” Sign up to OK!’s daily newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free

He bought his home back in November 2020 and celebrated the achievement on social media. Sharing a photo of him outside the property, he wrote: “I bought my first house!! Feeling very lucky and thankful today. Buying a house during lockdown hasn’t been the easiest experience but it’s finally all sorted. Apologies to anyone who has had to deal with me over the past few months – I have never been so stressed.” He added: “Thank you to my parents who let me live at home for all this time and promised the bank they would cover my mortgage if I couldn’t (being self employed is all fun and games until you try to buy a house) Roll on post lockdown housewarmings.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
