Privacy NoticeLucy Beaumont is preparing for a TV comeback following her split from husband Jon Richardson. The couple, who share eight year old daughter Elsie, shocked fans in April when they announced that their nine-year marriage had come to an end. Now, six months on, the 41 year old comedian will be returning to the small screen. Her show, Lucy Beaumont: Live From The Royal Court Theatre, has been confirmed to air on Sky Comedy on October 22 at 9pm. It’s set to feature “off-beat stories, unusual anecdotes and bizarre journeys through modern-day womanhood”. It comes after her stand-up routine returned to London last week. She’s said to have name-checked her ex in the performance, as well as revealing that her parents were also ending their marriage.

Lucy, who is believed to be on good terms with Jon, previously admitted to feeling “guilty” after sharing details about her personal life. Speaking to the Sunday Times, she said: “I don’t regret anything. But equally, [over] this next stage I am very much keeping my personal life personal. I sometimes feel guilty that I talked about my daughter and my marriage, and my mum and my dad. “I think partly I was feeling grateful, grateful that I was getting the work, grateful that I was being interviewed, and feeling like I had to sacrifice and share everything.” The star, who has featured on a number of comedy panel shows including Would I Lie To You?, The Last Leg and Have I Got News For You, also told OK!: “People might think I should talk about it [the break up] because we were so public and everyone knew us as a couple, but I won’t, and not because there’s any animosity. “We both agreed that while it might be weird for other people not hearing anything about it, we wouldn’t talk about anything to do with the marriage or each other.” Sign up to OK!’s daily newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free

Announcing their split earlier this year, the couple – who starred together in Meet The Richardsons, in which they play “exaggerated versions of themselves”, since 2020 – described the decision as “difficult”, but made “jointly and amicably”. They wrote in a statement: “As our only priority is managing this difficult transition for our daughter, we would ask that our privacy is respected at this sensitive time to protect her well-being. We will be making no further comment. Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
