Privacy NoticeCoronation Street fans think they’ve solved the mystery of who killed Joel Deering. In upcoming episodes of the ITV soap, it’s confirmed that the villainous Joel has met a grim end. A group of young lads stumble upon Joel’s body in the river, just two weeks after he vanished. An autopsy will confirm that Joel was already dead before he ended up in the water. Viewers have been gripped by the chilling storyline involving Joel, particularly after it emerged that he was the one who assaulted Lauren Bolton. Lauren eventually returned to Weatherfield to clear Roy’s name. Once Joel’s actions were exposed, he ran away – but his crimes are now common knowledge. However, next week, he is found dead – but who is responsible for his murder? Fans are buzzing with theories about who could be behind Joel’s death, with DS Lisa Swain, Dee-Dee Bailey and Lauren all being floated as possible suspects. But, after a scene on Friday, viewers are convinced that Kit might be the one to blame. While the police are still in the dark about Joel’s fate for now, DS Swain has been taken off the Joel case, with Kit Green stepping in. Could a seemingly minor scene from tonight’s episode suggest that Kit is Joel’s killer?

Corrie fans have been voicing their opinions on Twitter about the latest drama unfolding on the cobbles. One viewer tweeted: “Kit’s getting too damn big for his britches as a TEMPORARY lead detective. #Corrie,” while another chimed in with: “I hope Lisa takes Kit down! I dont trust him one bit! #Corrie.” Another fan expressed doubts about Kit’s capabilities: “Kit couldn’t run a bath let alone an actual case. Lisa will enjoy watching him fail #corrie,” and someone else questioned his attitude: “#Corrie How does Kit get to speak to Swain like that?”

The plot thickens when DS Swain tries to chip in on the investigation, only to be snubbed by Kit who claims he doesn’t need her assistance. The camera lingers on Kit’s face after this interaction, leaving viewers to speculate about his possible involvement in Joel’s murder. In a surprising development, Mason Radcliffe emerges as a prime suspect following a post-mortem report indicating Joel was likely killed with a crowbar. A scene where Mason unsuccessfully attempts to dispose of his crowbar, under Kit’s watchful eye, raises the question of whether Mason’s actions will see him in trouble.

The list of potential culverts grows as Max Turner, Ronnie Bailey, Ed Bailey, and even DS Swain’s daughter Betsy exhibit suspicious behaviour. With so many suspects in the mix, the real culprit behind Joel’s death is still up in the air, and it’s uncertain if justice will be served.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
