Privacy NoticeThe first four weeks of Married At First Sight UK has had more arguments and drama than we can count, and things are about to get a whole lot more dramatic as we come into the fifth week. Cracks start to show for even the ‘most perfect couples,’ including Sacha and Ross, who have their first explosive argument. Sacha, a 29 year old Aesthetics Practitioner from Birmingham was single for nine months before marrying 32 year old father of one Ross McCarthy, from Manchester. The couple have been going from strength to strength during the experiment, with Ross even gaining the approval of Sacha’s highly protective father. Although, things can’t stay perfect forever, as Sacha tells us her ‘fiery side’ will be shown on screen, which she puts down to being a Sagittarius.

“I actually end up piping up at some point, somebody puts 20p in me, and all of a sudden I end up having a disagreement with one of the other male cast members,” the 29-year-old says. “It does end up getting between me and Ross and causing a little bit of friction between us, because he is friends with one of them, and it all goes tits up from there,” she tells us. Ross, the first deaf groom on the show, and Sacha, who revealed she had been celibate since breaking up with her ex, quickly became fan favourites. The couple seemed to have chemistry at first sight, despite not being ‘physically as close’ as other couples. The wedding night saw Ross offer to sleep on the sofa, after Sacha explained her celibacy. “I’m really glad that he did that, it really set the tone from the start,” she says. As well as a blip in her own marriage, Sacha teases that viewers will start to see cracks in some relationships that seem perfect, as well as the new ‘intruders’ causing up a storm, with one bride in particular, ‘Hurricane Hannah’.

Last week, viewers saw 33-year-old newbie Hannah Norburn tie the knot with dad of four, Stephen Nolson. Despite the shock of Stephen’s revelation, there was a clear connection between the two, although things took a turn during the honeymoon. Sacha tells us things are by no means set to calm down as they join the other couples for dramatic dinner parties and commitment ceremonies. “The intruders definitely brought some spice to it and definitely threw us all a bit off guard,” Sacha says, of the tight-knit group we’ve previously seen. “There’s definitely a reason that she was nicknamed Hurricane Hannah. “She comes in and really stirs up some s**t. It stops the female group being so solid,” Sacha, who is still extremely close to the girls now, teases. “We all are proper girls girls, but Hannah just shakes everything up!” On her friendship with the other brides, Sacha says she still ‘proper loves’ all the girls. “We’ve all been each other’s rock really, we’ve all been really lucky. No matter what happens for anyone, we have actually all found love with each other.”

The closeness between the cast was shown during Charlie and Eve’s dramatic exit, who became the first couple to leave the process. Despite looking like the perfect couple during their wedding, unfortunately, things didn’t pan out how they quite planned, and an explosive honeymoon led to even more explosions when they were back in the UK. Never seeing eye to eye, things got too much for the girls, who opted to leave after the second commitment ceremony. Reminiscing, Sacha laughs about how she was seen dramatically sobbing during their exit. “I was sobbing my heart out like I was never going to see them again,” she laughs. “When you’re in that moment, you’re really really in it, and it’s so intense,” as she teases many more dramatic commitment ceremonies to come. As well as his bride, more importantly, Ross appeared to gain the approval of Sacha’s dad, which she reveals would have been a complete deal breaker if things went the other way. Despite Ross being a bag of nerves during in-laws week, the meeting (and gym session) couldn’t have gone any better.

“My dad’s been my protector my whole life. and I’ve never had to worry about, like, anything, like because of my dad,” Sacha gushes. “Everybody knew who my dad was where I’m from, all my boyfriends have been scared of him.” In-laws week was the first time Bryn and Ross had a sit down with each other, as Sacha reveals her dad wasn’t able to attend her wedding reception, due to illness. After ‘almost killing’ Ross with a hardcore gym workout, emotional scenes saw him tell Bryn he’d always look after and protect his daughter, gaining his approval with a warm embrace. It came as a huge sigh of relief for Sacha, who shared a hilarious anecdote of the moment she realised she was ‘sold’ with Ross at the airport as they headed off to their lavish honeymoon in Barbados, as she revealed Ross was ‘everything’ she asked for. “When we were on our way to the honeymoon, he had TN’s on [Nike TN Air Max trainers] and I was like oh my god I’m sold!” she laughs. Despite saying she was ‘shaking like a leaf’ on her wedding day, and left wondering ‘what the f**k she was doing’ for now, things seem to be going swimmingly for the pair, but as we know from previous seasons, things could be set to change…Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
