Privacy NoticeThis Morning’s Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley welcomed the ‘real-life Addams family’ to the ITV studio on Tuesday morning, 15 October. Jon Paul Kenny, Kymmi Jeffrey and their two daughters, Snow and Pebble, arrived into the studio in a hearse, which is their car, leading Ben to comment: “It’s intimidating isn’t it when a hearse drives into the studio!” Cat joked: “Maybe it’s a premonition of what’s to come.” Cat then told viewers that the family had opened a haunted museum in their garage and had brought some of the items, including a haunted mirror, with them to the studio. The haunted mirror was hidden underneath a black velvet curtain, which Cat questioned the family about.

Kymmi explained: “That is our haunted mirror and that’s from the Hell’s House in Middlesbrough. It’s a very well-investigated place with lots of negative energies attached to that building. “It was carefully sourced that mirror. I went to bed after we picked it up and that night my face had an allergic reaction to it. We didn’t think anything of it at the time.” She revealed that Jon was also violently sick after they obtained it and guests of theirs had also fallen ill or had reactions after looking in the mirror, so they decided to cover it up.

They also now had people sign waivers before looking in it, giving Ben and Cat the opportunity to brave a glance. While Cat said: “I’m going to give this one a miss!”, Ben decided to give it a go. The 49 year old tried to peek into the mirror without viewers at home also getting a glimpse, but disaster almost struck when it nearly fell off of its gold stand. The TV favourite said: “I feel like I might break the mirror, regardless of whether you believe in any of this stuff, the idea of seven years of bad luck with the most haunted mirror in the world?” Ben told the family that he’d let them know if he got sick after looking into the mirror, but he did admit that he was feeling “queasy.” One viewer later asked on X: “@thismorning @benshephard how you feeling #addamsFamily haunted mirror?!”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
