Privacy Notice Linda Robson has courageously shared her heartache over a miscarriage during a candid conversation with her Loose Women co-stars Charlene White, Coleen Nolan and Ayda Field Williams. In the latest episode of the hit ITV daytime show, the talk turned to parenting when Linda chose to open up about the loss she experienced between having her children. The television star, aged 66, discussed the age gaps between her children during the chat. “Well I had Lauren when I was 25, and then there was an 11 year gap before I had Louis and then I think about a five-year gap between Bobby. So at 25 I was quite a young mum and everything”.

She shared her personal pain: “I lost one inbetween Louis and Bobby, sorry Louis and Lauren, so I would have had four children but that didn’t happen.” Linda reflected on how her family’s dynamics evolved, noting the initial sibling rivalry: “It was just the age difference, Lauren hated Louis when he was born as she had 11 years on her own sleeping in a bed with me, and it was just me and her.”, reports the Mirror.

“But their relationship changed over time thanks to some significant family bonding,” Linda happily revealed. “Then all of a sudden this brother turns up who has got eczema and asthma so he needed a bit more care than the other kids.” “It was only when we went to Australia, I was working out in Australia and I took the three kids out there, that Louis and Lauren bonded because she was looking after him while I was working. Now the three are close as anything, they really are.” This isnt the first time Linda has touched upon her tragic experience; she has also previously spoken about her grief on Loose Women back in 2021.

Linda opened up to her co-stars, revealing her intuition about her pregnancy: “You know, when you just know that it’s not the same as the other pregnancies and something’s not quite right there. So I rang the hospital and asked if I could come in and have another scan.” She continued, describing the tough time she faced: “That was a really hard day, like going home that night knowing that I’d have to go in and have suction the next day.” If you would like support on the topic of baby loss, you can contact Tommy’s charity helpline on 0800 0147 800 or visit their official website here.
