Privacy NoticeBritish supermodel icon Kate Moss stunned as she made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut, alongside her daughter Lila, during the return of the US runway event. The lingerie brand returned for its first live fashion show in six years, with some of the world’s most famous models and musicians gracing the catwalk in New York City. Kate caused a stir as she made a surprise appearance during the event, strutting down the catwalk moments after her 22-year-old daughter Lila took to the stage in a pretty pink number. Kate, 50, wore a lace-covered slip dress over a black bodysuit ensemble with a pair of feathered angel wings, as she emerged during a rendition of the 1981 track I Love Rock ’n’ Roll.

Meanwhile, Gigi Hadid opened the show before her sister Bella made a surprise appearance as a scarlet bombshell. Bella traded the trademark angel wings for a voluminous red and black ombre tulle cape that flowed behind her while Cher – whose beau Alexander “AE” Edwards supported her from the audience – performed. Cher led a stellar all-female line-up, belting out a medley including her dance anthem Strong Enough and the remix of her classic, Believe. Korean pop sensation Lisa and the talented South African songstress Tyla were also among the performers. Tyla, adorned in fluffy wings herself, interacted with models during her Push 2 Start performance. She later serenaded the crowd with Water, her Grammy-recognised tune, as she modelled baby blue lingerie with gold detailing.

Tyra Banks also made a return to the Victoria’s Secret runway after two decades, dazzling in a silver metallic cape and bodice, as she closed the show amidst a shower of pink confetti. The America’s Next Top Model host, 50, broke her retirement to walk her first Victoria’s Secret runway since 2005. Adriana Lima, another familiar face, graced the catwalk again despite having hung up her wings in 2018. Spotted among the audience was Dylan Sprouse, who was there to support his model wife Barbara Palvin, complete with adorable cardboard cutouts of their pets.

Before the show, Gigi Hadid shared with Entertainment Tonight that her beau, Bradley Cooper, was on “dad duty” but was “so supportive”, and she playfully speculated that her pal Taylor Swift would likely be enjoying the show from the comfort of her couch with boyfriend Travis Kelce. The fashion show, which began in 1995, was once a staple of pop culture, drawing millions of viewers at its height. However, it faced its lowest ratings in 2018 amid criticism for a lack of diversity on the catwalk. The 2019 show was cancelled but was brought back this year, with the brand confirming it was “celebrating all women”.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
