Privacy NoticeDuring an exciting episode of BBC’s The One Show, Roman Kemp, who was sharing the hosting duties with Alex Jones on the iconic green sofa, announced something big. As the duo discussed a variety of subjects in their 30-minute slot, they ended the show with some impressive Children In Need news. Alex hinted at the excitement first, saying: “Now there’s just over a month to go until we’ll all be getting ready to stick on our Pudsey ears and help raise an incredible amount of money for this year’s Children In Need appeal show on the 15th of November.” The presenter revelation came from Roman, as he teased: “Yeah, and we can reveal that the presenter helping host the big night for the very first time is here right now. It’s Vernon Kay!” Vernon Kay then made his entrance, casually joining Aiden Turner and Bella Maclean, the stars of Rivals, on set. Roman seized the moment to give props to Vernon, saying: “Congratulations, mate, taking on hosting duties on the night. You’re one of six presenters on the big night.”
