Privacy Notice The Royal Family turned out in full to support Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their special day. The lovebirds exchanged vows at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on 19 May 2018, with the late Queen leading the Royal pack, which included the likes of Prince Philip, then-Prince Charles with Duchess Camilla, and Prince William alongside Princess Kate. Zara Tindall, along with hubby Mike, was also there, mingling with her mum Princess Anne, who was recently hospitalised due to a concussion, and brother Peter Phillips. However, it wasn’t all smiles for the Queen’s eldest granddaughter. Heavily pregnant with her second child, daughter Lena, Zara opened up to the Daily Telegraph about the ordeal, admitting: “I was uncomfortable! My bum sort of slid over either side and Lena kicked the hell out of me for an hour. It just wasn’t comfy at all and it probably showed on my face.”

She also commented on Bishop Michael Curry’s memorable sermon, which went on for a lengthy 13 minutes: “It was just the general amount of time everything was taking,” Zara remarked. “I think my face was probably caught the point when I thought ‘Right he’s going to finish now’ and then he went off on another little story and it was like, “Really?” Lena made her entrance into the world a month post-wedding, on 18 June. Zara and Mike later welcomed their third bundle of joy, a son named Lucas, on 21 March 2021. Zara Tindall and Prince William have always had a special connection, growing up together and maintaining a tight-knit relationship well into their adult lives.

Alongside her husband Mike, Zara enjoys private time with William and his wife Kate, allowing even their children to form adorable bonds out of the public eye. However, things seem a tad frostier between Zara and Prince Harry. During the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022, observers noted that despite seeing Zara chat with Harry, there was a noticeable coolness compared to their previously warm interactions. The entire Royal Family was still reeling from the bombshells dropped by Harry and Meghan in their tell-all chat with Oprah, which may explain the awkward vibes caught by onlookers at the event.

Zara did take a moment to exchange words with Harry outside Westminster Abbey, but Mike seemed to consciously avoid mingling with the Sussexes. Noted body language expert Judi James relayed to the Express: “While Harry and Meghan stand locked together as a duo here though, holding hands and performing some rather forced smiles, with Meghan standing slightly behind Harry’s right arm as though in need of some form of protection, Zara’s body language lacks her normal displays of tactile warmth.” “Facing front rather than turning in to encourage communication, her arms are held firmly at the sides of her ribs, with the left hand clamped to the right wrist in the clasp in a barrier ritual that would imply there was no offer of PDAs or touch beyond the politest.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
