Day 10 at SW19 saw the quarter finals of the tournament, which has attracted many famous faces over the past week. Royal enthusiasts are hoping that Princess Kate might make an appearance at the Wimbledon Championships this weekend, although Kensington Palace officials are reportedly waiting until the last minute for a decision on whether the royal will attend the All England Club in London.

Kate parents Carole and Michael greeted well-wishers as they arrived to take their seats on Centre Court, with Kate’s mother looking elegant in a white floral and green dress paired with brown suede heels. Meanwhile, Peter Phillips was seen with his new girlfriend Harriet Sperling, who is an NHS nurse and freelance writer. The lovebirds, who started dating just weeks after the King’s nephew split from his three-year partner, have been spotted at numerous high-profile events recently, including a cosy display at Royal Ascot.

Queen Camilla made a surprise visit at the prestigious Tennis event

Peter wore a dark blue suit with a white shirt and purple patterned tie, while his new love donned a floral dress. In May, the duo enjoyed a weekend together at the Badminton Horse Trials, where they were seen walking hand in hand. Queen Camilla made an unexpected visit too, where she mingled with former tennis pros and participants of this year’s tournament. Upon her arrival, she was introduced to individuals on the Players’ Lawn who support The Championships, as well as ball boy, Yug, from Harris Academy Wimbledon, and ball girl, Natalia, from Burntwood School in Wandsworth. She also had the pleasure of meeting former professional tennis players, Jamie Delgado and Laura Robson.

The Queen chose to re-wear a cream-coloured Anna Valentine dress adorned with a striking giraffe pattern for the occasion. She first debuted this dress during the King and Queen’s state visit to Kenya last Autumn. Camilla, who was joined by her sister Annabel Elliot, was watching former Wimbledon singles champion Elena Rybakina, of Kazakhstani, face Ukraine’s Elina Svitolina in the quarter-final. A host of celebrities were also in attendance, including Kiera Knightley and her hubby James Righton.

The Pride and Prejudice star wore a white dress and dark sunglasses, while her husband, who fronted indie band The Klaxons until the band broke up in 2015, wore a dark brown suit with a cream shirt and tie. F1 star George Russell was also in the Centre Court crowd, wearing dark sunglasses with a blue and white pinstripe suit, white shirt and dark blue tie. Actor Richard E Grant was also watching the day’s action alongside journalist Jemima Khan. Yesterday, Princess Beatrice added a touch of royalty to the event as she took her place in the Royal Box, where she was seen having an animated conversation with Stephen Fry, 66. She was accompanied in the front row of the star-studded Royal Box by her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 40, who looked dapper in a tan suit, paired with a crisp blue shirt and burgundy tie.

It’s not surprising that Beatrice, who recently opened up about her mother’s cancer battle, and Stephen seemed to get along well; the comedian is a friend of King Charles and also attended the wedding of Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie, in Windsor in 2018. Stephen was spotted eagerly leaning forward to affectionately grasp Princess Beatrice’s hand as they greeted each other, both looking delighted to be in the Royal Box at Wimbledon.
