Mike Tindall, the ex-England rugby star who is married to the late Queen’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall, revealed he had his nose straightened following repeated breaks during his sporting career. Chatting with the the other hosts on a special all-male Loose Women panel, Mike shared that the surgery was essential for his health, not just for cosmetic reasons. Vernon Kay, who was hosting the show, quizzed Mike: “Your nose job was for purpose though wasn’t it? Your nose was literally underneath your left eye from rugby. It wasn’t just for looks you had it done?”

With his trademark humour, Mike responded: “No, I was stopping breathing during sleep so it needed to be done.”, reports the Mirror. He also mentioned getting dental work, saying: “I also had my teeth done but that was because they were crossed and looked like a bag of chips.” Vernon couldn’t resist a cheeky comment about the rough-and-tumble nature of rugby, adding: “It’s a great game, rugby.” The Loose Women spin-off, dubbed ‘Loose Men’, featured Vernon alongside Strictly’s Johannes Radebe and radio favourite Roman Kemp, focusing on men’s mental health issues. Vernon expressed his enthusiasm for hosting another edition of the ITV show, which aims to encourage open conversations about mental health among men. He enthused: “Men’s mental health is so important to me. I learnt things from the panel members last time that I’d never known before.”

We will continue to bring awareness to mental health as it still plagues our society.” In 2020, for the first time ever, the Loose Women handed over the reins to an all-male crew. The previous episode of Loose Men featured Richard Madeley at the helm, with guests including dancer Jordan Banjo, TV judge Robert Rinder, and Martin Kemp in tow.
