Privacy NoticeBefore she became a global sensation, Meghan Markle was making waves on the small screen, most notably in her breakout role on the popular legal drama Suits aired on USA Network. In 2011, the now-Duchess of Sussex took on the character of paralegal Rachel Zane, winning over viewers with her sharp intellect and her romantic storyline with lead character Mike Ross (portrayed by Patrick J. Adams). Meghan’s stint on the show ended after six years when her relationship with Prince Harry escalated, leading her to become a full-time senior member of the British Royal Family. Even though Suits wrapped up in 2019, the series has continued to smash records, reports the Express. Despite her varied roles, Meghan’s biggest payday came from Suits, where she reportedly pocketed an eye-watering £37,000 per episode, bringing her annual salary to an impressive £333,000. With the ongoing success of the show, the 43 year old could still be cashing in on its royalties. Her filmography also includes 2010’s Anti-Social, Horrible Bosses and the Robert Pattinson-starring movie, Remember Me.

Her fleeting appearance as a bartender alongside the Twilight star netted her a cool £138,000, a sum many attribute to her previous marriage to the film’s producer Trevor Engelson. As reported by the Mirror, thanks to her various TV and film roles, Meghan had a staggering net worth of £5 million. Meghan earned a cool £127,000 for her role in the short film The Candidate and bagged another £114,000 for an indie flick, The Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down. While her overall acting salary remains under wraps, insiders suggest that her earnings played a significant part in helping Meghan and Prince Harry afford their lavish Montecito home after they stepped back from their senior royal duties in 2020. The couple’s combined net worth is estimated to be over $60 million, with Meghan reportedly chipping in an estimated $2 million towards their gorgeous property.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
