Privacy NoticeFollowing the Princess of Wales’ latest outing to Crathie Kirk on the Balmoral Estate in Scotland, a leading body language expert has revealed that Kate was “chatty and animated”. Despite a year of limited appearances owing to her cancer diagnosis, the Princess was the picture of elegance and glamour as she rode in the front seat of a car driven by Prince William. Speaking to the Mirror, Judi shared: “Kate looks chatty and animated here and as she turns her head to speak her brows are raised.” The expert pointed out that Kate appeared “relaxed” as she travelled with her husband.

Judi added: “But there is one even stronger sign of authentic, relaxed happiness. We can see her teeth gleaming in a smile that is mirrored by William’s smile as they drive to church. “The important ‘tell’ though comes from the very distinct dimple we can see at the side of her cheek, which suggests she’s truly enjoying the outing as well as the company in the car. The hat with its feather gives a jaunty look too, making Kate look positive and upbeat here.” As well as The Prince and Princess, Prince George could be seen tucked away in the back seat of the car. The Wales trio also joined The King and Queen, who arrived in a separate car, as well as the Duke of Edinburgh. A spectacular welcome was provided by the Scottish Balaklava company’s pipers with their guard of honour as they greeted the King. The Princess of Wales previously made a striking return to the public eye at the Trooping the Colour after sharing news about her health. She later presented Carlos Alcaraz with his Wimbledon win in July. Before her appearance at the Trooping the Colour, Kate shared a heartfelt statement on her wellbeing: “I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days,” she confessed. “On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well.”

She continued to talk about her treatment and how it has intertwined with her daily life: “My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.” Its believed that Kate’s Sunday outing was her first since Wimbledon, although she and William had previously sent out video cheers to Team GB athletes following the Paris Olympics. Crathie Kirk has been a favourite worship spot for the Royal Family during their Balmoral stays for over 100 years. After Queen Elizabeth II’s passing in September 2022, a private service was held there for the royals.
