Privacy NoticeKing Charles is reportedly open to mending fences with Prince Harry after seeking counsel from various spiritual leaders. The bond between the prince and his family has been strained following the explosive revelations in Harry’s book ‘Spare’ and their Netflix series. Yet, the king is believed to “have faith” that his son “will return” despite the long-standing Royal rift. He’s considering reconciliation, potentially influenced by “spiritual nourishment” advice. “Charles misses his son. He still loves Harry and wants him back for personal reasons regardless that he and Meghan do not [want to] return to royal life. Harry will always be Charles’s much-loved son,” an insider revealed to the Daily Mail.

“He has faith that Harry could return. He misses the bond they once had, and the door will always remain open to him and his family. He does not want years of discord and disharmony clouding his reign.” The tension seemed to escalate when Harry didn’t visit his father during a brief trip to the UK for an Invictus Games event in May, with conflicting reports about why they didn’t meet. However, Harry did make a quick trip to see his dad in February upon learning of his cancer diagnosis, sharing a 30-minute meeting, which was brief due to Charles’ doctors’ strict rules on face-to-face contact during his treatment, reports the Mirror.

The comments come after a source told MailOnline: “Faith has always been a part of Charles’s life and something he’s explored, but since becoming King it is playing a more central role.” They also mentioned: “That reliance on faith and quiet contemplation has become a comfort and asset to him and helps him cope with the role as he adapts to being King.” While Harry attended King Charles’s Coronation at Westminster Abbey in 2023, Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, were noticeably absent.

The Duke of Sussex was seated discreetly away from his brother Prince William during the event and was reportedly not asked to join the family for the traditional balcony appearance at Buckingham Palace. Nonetheless, since the grand occasion of the Coronation, it’s been said that King Charles has been seeking paths to mend fences with Harry, guided by his faith advisors. Reports suggest: “Faith has always been a part of Charles’s life and something he’s explored, but since becoming King it is playing a more central role. That reliance on faith and quiet contemplation has become a comfort and asset to him and helps him cope with the role as he adapts to being King.”
