Privacy NoticeThe Royals are steeped in tradition, adhering to strict protocols concerning their dress, public demeanour, and even how they travel. Prince William and Kate Middleton are known for running a disciplined household, especially with their three little ones: 11 year old Prince George, 9 year old Princess Charlotte, and 6 year old Prince Louis. Lately, eagle-eyed Royal followers have picked up on what seems like a tiny squabble between Kate and Princess Charlotte about how the young Royal should wear her hair. A seemingly less impressed Kate Middleton reacts to Prince Williams latest decision for the family.

At the recent Trooping the Colour last month, adoring fans got a chance to see Kate and her brood after her brave battle with cancer. The 42-year-old Princess had understandably stepped back from her Royal engagements to heal but captured hearts once again by joining her family on the balcony. During this momentous event, footage emerged showing Kate affectionately fixing Charlotte’s long hair off her shoulder. One observer on social media noted: “Charlotte trying to wear her hair in front.” What followed was a series of moments caught on camera that depicted Kate lovingly repositioning her daughter’s tresses behind her shoulders, sparking comments from many followers who found it truly relatable and endearing. Fans are relating hard to Princess Charlotte’s hair struggles in a recent video, with one saying: “This is literally me all the time and my mom just puts it back.” Another added: “Same Charlotte .. it shapes my face.” And a third shared: “My mom says it’s cause she wants to see more of my beautiful face.” The debate is on whether this is a ‘Royal’ rule or just a typical ‘mum’ thing. One commenter noted: “Let’s be honest… mothers do this regardless of being royal or not. They prefer it a certain way, they gonna make you do it.” Despite having help from a nanny, Kate and William are hands-on parents, enjoying down-to-earth family activities like cycling and baking with their kids. But life isn’t all fun and games for George, Charlotte, and Louis at their home in Windsor’s Adelaide Cottage, as they have to abide by certain rules set by their parents. A strict rule has been disclosed by a source, who told the Sun that shouting is a big no-no in the Cambridge household: “Shouting is absolutely ‘off limits’ for the children and any hint of shouting at each other is dealt with by removal.” Kate Middleton and Prince William have a unique approach to parenting, shunning traditional methods like the ‘naughty step’ in favour of calm discussions. A Royal insider spilled the beans: “The naughty child is taken away from the scene of the row or disruption and talked to calmly by either Kate or William. Things are explained and consequences outlined and they never shout at them.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
