Privacy NoticePrincess Sofia and her husband have made their first appearance since sharing with the world their baby news. The mother-of-three was a vision as she visited a Volvo site with Prince Carl Philip this morning in Varmland. The appearance comes just two days after the Swedish Royal Family announced the couple were expecting their fourth child. During the visit, 39-year-old Sofia looked effortlessly chic in black flared pants and a white sweater. To complete the look, wore black angle boots and wrapped a grey and white pashmina around her shoulders and her baby bump was very subtle under her multi-layered outfit.

The Prince and Princess tied the knot in 2015 and they are parents to Prince Alexander, seven, Prince Gabriel, five, and Prince Julian, two. A statement from the Swedish Royal Household read: “Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia have the great pleasure to announce that the Princess is expecting the couple’s fourth child. “Princess Sofia is doing well and the birth is expected in February 2025. No changes are expected in Princess Sofia’s official program during the autumn.” A photograph of the couple smiling at the camera in front of a scenic lake in the mountains was shared alongside the statement.

Prince Carl is the only son of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia and is fourth-in-line to the Swedish throne at present after his older sister, Crown Princess Victoria and her children, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar. Princess Sofia has taken part in a variety of reality shows in her home country and was formerly a glamour model. Their romance was made public in July 2010 when the palace confirmed their relationship. It’s understood they met at a nightclub and they moved in together nine months later.
