Privacy NoticeThe Princess of Wales is reportedly planning to join the Royal family at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday and hoping to host her annual Christmas carol concert, after undergoing months of chemotherapy treatment for cancer. According to The Sunday Times, she may join the King on November 10 at the national service in Whitehall to honour those who died in conflict. Plans are also said to be in progress for her annual televised Together At Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey in December, as long as her health continues to improve. While no official date has been set for her return to public life, it’s understood that the princess is holding more regular meetings as she works from home, after spending the summer with the Prince of Wales and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Since her diagnosis, Kate, 42, has made two official public appearances attending Trooping the Colour in June and presenting the Wimbledon men’s trophy in July. In a heartfelt written message ahead of Trooping, she revealed that she was making good progress but was “not out of the woods yet” and had “good days and bad days” as she continued her treatment, reports the Mirror. On Friday, Kate expressed her excitement about collaborating with the UK’s new Chief Scout, Dwayne Fields. A personal welcome message from the Duchess of Cambridge, who is joint president of the Scout Association, was shared on the official social media account of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

It comes after Kate delighted fans by returning to social media this week, sharing that she is “looking forward” to her upcoming work duties. Issuing a statement on X, she took to her and Prince William’s official account to share her joy about a cherished organisation, and her future plans to work with it. Kate, 42, is joint president of the Scout Association, and has been since 2020, alongside the Duke of Kent, who she shares the title with. She expressed her excitement about the announcement of the UK’s new chief Scout. In the statement, she wrote: Delighted to welcome @DwayneFields as the new UK Chief Scout. The Scouts is such an incredible organisation, teaching #SkillsForLife and making a huge difference to young people across the country.” She signed off looking forward to the future, with a personal ‘C’, adding: “Looking forward to working with you!
