On Tuesday night, viewers watched as Stacey and her team travelled to the West Midlands to assist the Clarke family. Sarah and Jon, both deaf, share their two-storey home with their three children, Timeon, Caitlin and Owen. When it came time to declutter the house, Stacey assigned kitchen duties to their eldest son. However, while tidying up the room, Stacey discovered why maintaining a clean space in that particular room was so crucial for him. Timeon had taken loans from his grandparents and mother to purchase his computer and was repaying them through chores. He revealed: “So, I’ve just been cooking to pay all that off. That’s where my love for cooking came from, really.”

He further explained to Stacey that even though he has managed to repay everything, he continues to cook for the family, reports Bristol Live. The BBC star was moved by the teenager’s gesture and confessed something about her own son. Speaking to the camera outside, she said: “If I said to my 13-year-old, ‘Can you start cooking to pay off one of the many things that I have bought you over the years?’. He’d be like, ‘Urgh, Urgh! Argh I don’t even want to eat!’. That’s what I would get!” Reflecting on the fact that Timeon has already settled his debt and still cooks for everyone, Stacey concluded: “I’ve done something wrong. I’ve… I’ve lost. I’ve lost in the game that is raising a teenager.”

During the programme, 35-year-old Stacey Solomon shared some personal insights about her sister while chatting with Sarah, the mum in the family. As they tidied up the dining area, Stacey revealed she had some familiarity with deaf awareness. The BBC star said: “My sister is hard of hearing. So, she doesn’t sign. She’ll always lip-read me.” Sarah then explained to Stacey that deaf people have sign names, and hers is ‘Sarah – the cheeky one’. In a light-hearted moment, Sarah suggested a sign name for Stacey based on her chattiness, causing the BBC star to burst into laughter as she confessed: “Ok, I was expecting it, to be honest!”
