However, many were taken aback by the revelation of her true age.

In the shared snaps, Ellie looked effortlessly stylish in a deep red ensemble, elegantly sipping from a wine glass, simply captioning the post “20” along with playful emojis, reports Plymouth Live. Fans flooded the comments with birthday love and surprise, with one writing: “20 and haven’t aged a bit”, and another querying, “Are you that actress from EastEnders?” Another follower exclaimed: “Wow, 20! Happy Birthday”, complete with a heart emoji, while another admirer commented: “You look amazing Ellie, hope you had a great birthday x”.
In a flurry of birthday wishes, one fan penned a heartfelt note for Ellie saying: “Happy Birthday, Ellie! I wish you all the success in the world. You are an incredible actress, and your 20s will be filled with such wonderful things.” Amy is at the heart of EastEnders’ drama this week, as the Walford teens face trouble with the law. The drama unfolded on Monday (March 24) when wild child Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) tempted Amy and sorrowful Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) into skipping school after the loss of Lily’s father, Martin Fowler (James Bye). Despite catching the rebellious trio, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) was swayed by Avani’s plea to let them off the hook as she intended to cheer Lily up.

The group’s high spirits come crashing down after they run into Marvin, a familiar face who last year offered Avani vapes, only to tempt them with harder substances this time around. Avani stood her ground, declining the offer, but their misadventure caught up with them as the police arrived, spotted the young girls playing truant, and then discovered the pills that Marvin carelessly dropped near Avani. The situation escalated quickly, and before long, the girls were escorted to the police station. Family members Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) showed up to fetch Amy and Lily. Meanwhile, calls about Avani’s whereabouts went unanswered by her parents Priya and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).

Shockingly, Avani faced the ordeal of being strip-searched for drugs by two female officers, choosing to endure the process without the presence of an appropriate adult. In upcoming episodes, Avani accuses Priya of being a poor mother. However, when Priya discovers her daughter was held and strip-searched, she angrily confronts detective Jack about his colleagues’ behaviour. Lily and Amy are equally taken aback by the news, as an embarrassed Avani vents her frustration at Suki and Amy before fleeing.
