Privacy Notice Before she joined the Royal Family by marrying Prince Harry, Meghan Markle graced our screens in the popular US legal drama Suits. She played Rachel Zane, who was romantically involved with Mike Ross (played by Patrick J Adams), leading to a fair share of steamy scenes. Since then, her husband the Duke of Sussex has been quite candid about his feelings toward these on-screen moments with his current wife. In his explosive tell-all memoir Spare, Harry mentioned that he checked out Meghan’s love scenes from the series. He recalled one particular scene from the season two finale and added that watching it made him feel like he needed “electric shock therapy” to forget what he saw.

In Spare, Harry also opened up on the shock of discovering Meghan’s intimate scenes on Suits. “I’d witnessed her and a castmate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room. I didn’t need to see such things live,” he wrote, reports MyLondon. He humorously added that he may require “electric shock therapy” as a remedy for the visuals imprinted on his memory. After Meghan became linked with Prince Harry, it was reported that limits were put in place regarding her character’s on-screen behaviour. In his book Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors, Tom Bower claimed that “the Palace stepped in to control Meghan’s life”.

He continued: “Scripts were thereafter forwarded to Kensington Palace for approval. Orders for changes of words were sent back from London to Los Angeles.” “The most important demand concerned Meghan’s last scene at her ‘wedding’ to Mike. No photographs, the Palace ordered, were to be shot of Meghan wearing a wedding dress. Between filming, she was always to wear a jacket over the dress. The atmosphere in the studio changed.”
Demands were reportedly placed around Meghan’s role on the show

Having met Prince Harry back in 2016, the Duke of Sussex’s 40th birthday on Sunday, 15th September marks his eighth birthday with Meghan by his side. According to reports, Prince Harry will celebrate the milestone occasion with a low-key birthday. He will also reportedly embark on a hike into the Californian mountains with his closest friends. “The Cold Spring Trail has lots of streams and pools which people regularly take a dip in,” but warned, “But there are also lots of snakes and other wildlife to contend with, like large cats,” a source told express.co.uk. “Harry and his friends will truly experience the outdoors as they take on one of the long hikes. Let’s hope he’s taking an experienced guide with him.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
