Privacy NoticeJudging by their appearances in public, Prince Louis idolises his elder sister, Princess Charlotte, and loves to have the same things as her. In one sweet revelation, it was shared that the Princess of Wales took her two youngest children, Louis and Charlotte, for a secret visit to Elstree Studios in December 2023. The royal siblings got a behind-the-scenes look at the popular BBC TV show Strictly Come Dancing. Head judge Shirley Ballas later opened up about the royal visit and shared a cute story about Louis and Charlotte. “They are beautiful. When they visited we had these crowns on set, so I thought it would be a nice idea to give the little girl a crown and I got him a nice box of sweets,” Shirley told the Sun.

“Then he went, ‘I want one of those’ and pointed at the crown. So, we had to go and find him a little crown. They’re beautifully polite children. They had an absolute ball.” She continued: “We have photos, but I didn’t want to post them. I think it’s more private for her. I was just glad she was able to come in and have a great day. They all watch Strictly.” This isn’t the first time Louis has tried to emulate his sister. Prince William recently shared that young Louis has developed a habit of taking his sister Princess Charlotte’s jewellery. And the proud dad previously revealed how Louis follows his sister around in the mornings. Sign up to OK!’s royal newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free

“One of the songs that the children are loving at the moment is Shakira, Waka Waka. There’s a lot of hip movements going along. There’s a lot of dressing up,” he said. “Charlotte, particularly, is running around the kitchen in her dresses and ballet stuff and everything. She goes completely crazy with Louis following her around trying to do the same thing.” While the Wales family are huge fans of the show, Queen Camilla also shares this passion for Strictly – just like the late Queen Elizabeth II did too. Camilla revealed that the Queen was an avid viewer who enjoyed the competition, and the whole family supported 2021 champions Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice with their votes.

During a visit to the EastEnders set, Camilla and Charles met with Rose and were reportedly impressed by her performance on Strictly, especially a powerful routine that paid tribute to the BSL community. Camilla didn’t hold back in her admiration for Rose’s impactful appearance on the show. When the pair met, Camilla said: “Rose, the Strictly star. I said we were all voting for Rose, I don’t know how you did all those dances.” Rose then enquired: “Can I ask you, does the Queen watch Strictly Come Dancing?” “I think she does,” Camilla replied. “She probably watched you.” Rose was taken aback by the huge compliment. She later said: “It was really funny because she’s a huge fan of Strictly Come Dancing and she mentioned that she voted for me which is so lovely, and her grandchildren watch it. It is amazing, so lovely. I mean come on, it’s the Royal Family voting for me, sometimes you forget how many people watch the show, I am mind-blown.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
