More infoJoin us on WhatsApp Thursday night’s Love Island was all about the talent show, and the Islanders didn’t disappoint with their unique skills. Harriett Blackmore wowed everyone with her cheerleading, while Omar surprised both viewers and fellow Islanders with his balloon making abilities. Catherine channelled her inner Paul Hollywood with some cake decorating, and Luca had the villa in stitches with his rendition of The Wanted’s Glad You Came. Ronnie Vint showed off his football prowess, and Ekin stunned everyone with her incredible piano playing. However, it was Casey O’Gorman and his puppet Salty who really stole the show, as he used his impressions to tell the Islanders exactly what he thought of them. Starting with Omar and Catherine, Casey and puppet Salty hinted that Omar had a crush on Tina Stinnes, and used the challenges as an excuse to kiss her.

This came after last week’s drama when Catherine was left fuming at Omar for choosing to snog Tina during the snog, marry, pie challenge. Next, Casey and Salty turned their attention to Grace and Luca. Salty recalled how Luca was ‘sulking’ at the start of the show when none of the girls were his type – including Grace, reports the Mirror. However, he suggested that Luca’s eyes lit up when a girl who was his type finally walked in. “A brunette bombshell whose name rhymes with Tammy,” Salty said, hinting at Samie Elishi. He then moved onto Sammy and Elma, joking that Elma used to babysit Sammy when he was 10 years old – a nod to their nine-year age difference.

Catherine put a firm ban on Salty returning to the villa after his scathing quips, while Harriett suggested he should be “thrown in the firepit.” Fans jumped onto social media to voice their thoughts on Casey’s ‘savage’ antics; with one commenting: “producers must’ve told casey to rip these to shreds cos wth!” “Casey’s Curtis impression was sooooo spot on wtf,” chuckled another user, and a third exclaimed: “Casey is so savage! ” Yet another wrote in bewilderment: “i didn’t know whether to laugh or be shocked by Casey’s talent ‘Salty’.” After witnessing Curtis’s dance moves and Ekin-Su’s piano skills, the Islanders unanimously handed them victory as a couple, rewarding them with an intimate evening in the hideaway. In a more reconciliatory part of the show, Elma approached Ekin-Su for a heart-to-heart: “I feel like we both got a lot off our chest yesterday…I wanna clear things up ’cause I feel like you think I’ve got a vendetta against you and in all honesty it was never about you…I find Curtis very jarring… it’s a shame to me that we lost a friendship that I actually believed we were getting back,” Elma confided to Ekin-Su. Ekin also offered an apology for her actions during the heart rate challenge towards Sammy, admitting: “After the heart rate challenge, yes i did f**k up, which was wrong, I said sorry…all these games kept happening, you both voting us, I felt like this is becoming a pattern.” Elma eventually decided that she thought Curtis ‘was the problem,’ as both made it evident that there was no love lost between them.
