Privacy NoticePrince Harry is “leading a separate life” from Meghan Markle, according to some reports, as a key staffer decided to part ways with their team. And news of the Duke of Sussex attending a charity event in Sentebale, Lesotho, has sparked stories about the couple’s relationship. The African trip comes after several solo appearances from the Prince, a noticeable shift from times gone by when the duo seemed joined at the hip. A pivotal member of the Sussexes’ team has recently stepped down, fuelling speculation of a divide in their camp, reports the Daily Star. However, a royal insider was quick to downplay the buzz, insisting: “It’s natural for a couple to do things separately sometimes.”

In the past, Harry and Meghan were constantly jet-setting together in support of their beloved Archewell foundation. But now, their communications cheif, Ashley Hansen, is bowing out to launch her own venture. Ashley has vowed to stay on as an “advisor” to the royal pair while also handling PR for Meghan’s fresh Californian business project. It seems the Sussexes’ ventures may start to operate in parallel rather than in tandem. Last month, Harry rang in his 40th on a hiking trip without Meghan, though sources claim it was all thanks to Meghan planning the boys’ getaway.

This follows reports that Prince William was concerned about the location of jewels once adorned by his late mother, Princess Diana, which ended up with Meghan. The Duchess of Sussex is believed to have received an engagement ring from Harry in 2017, featuring a pair of diamonds from Diana’s personal collection. Harry himself discussed the jewellery at the time, stating it showcased Diana’s gems alongside a Botswana stone on a simple gold band. However, rumours soon circulated that the ring had been modified, with a thinner band being added. The couple were last spotted together on September 14, a day before Harry’s big day, when they attended the George Zajfen Tennis Tournament in Los Angeles. They made a special appearance at the charity tournament in Los Angeles, which benefits the Alliance for Children’s Rights in honor of Kelly McKee Zajfen’s late son George and is sponsored by The Archwell Foundation. Taking to her Instagram a day after the event, Kelly shared pictures with Harry and Meghan, which she captioned: “Harry and Meghan, you have been such a guiding light for our family not just In the way you have shown up in friendship but how you have shown up through the incredible work The Archewell Foundation does everyday.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
