Impressive before and after results (Image: Trinny London)Trinny London has just launched its first ever eye cream, promising to soften fine lines and slow down the ageing process. Founder Trinny Woodall first showcased the Take Back Time eye product, priced at £65, on social media, explaining how it took her team three years of dedicated research and testing to perfect the formula that enhances the skin’s fundamental functions. This breakthrough is designed specifically for the delicate eye area, which can age up to a decade quicker than other facial zones due to slower cell turnover, leading to persistent wrinkles, pronounced crow’s feet and dark circles. The 60 year old fashion expert revealed on Instagram: “As much as I said I would never use an eye cream, secretly I wanted to do one. I’ve just never found the ingredients until we discovered some longevity research into miniproteins and their effect on slowing down the ageing process. It’s the perfect ingredient to build our formulation for Take Back Time.” READ MORE: ‘I tested the viral Amazon hair dryer that promises a salon-quality blow-dry – I was so impressed’ READ MORE: A beauty editor’s guide to the best vanilla fragrances that smell expensive – starting from £19

“Take Back Time deals with the past, the present and the future you. The past you with all the damage that’s been done, and is where our two miniproteins start to work in slowing down the ageing process, so your lines will reduce over time,” reports the Express. “The present you is you wake up with dry eyes and you look tired, there is no hydration there. So we put in the most advanced form of hyaluronic acid called pro-derma hyaluronic acid, it goes twice as deep around your eye area. You’re going to get hydration that really lasts. It’s like giving your eyes a bath they can ever wish for.” “Now the future you is about the things that happen today and affect how you look in the future – it’s the stress of the day, the lack of sleep, inflammation. Hexapeptide-8 and ashwagandha are the perfect combination to deal with these issues.” Clinical trials have shown that within four weeks, eye cream users could see a noticeable change with reduced crows feet and under-eye lines, and 12 weeks of usage even improved eyelid sagging and puffiness.

Early testers are already thrilled with results, with one writing: “My eyes look 10 years younger and feel plump and firmer. Am delighted with the results,” and “This eye cream was a game changer for me! My eyes looked so tired, dull and crepey, since using this my eye area has drastically improved. My eyes look more awake, refreshed and rejuvenated since using this wonder cream, not to mention my fine lines have more or less disappeared. I just love it!” Another fan raved about the speedy transformation, stating: “Amazing cream. Cannot believe that the black rings under my eyes have almost gone. You can see the difference within 4-5 days.” The Trinny London Take Back Time eye treatment is available for £65, a bit on the higher side. However, if you’re looking for a more affordable option, Evenswiss Rejuvenating Eye Complex, a vitamin-enriched, non-greasy cream, can be purchased at Dermoi for £37. Another fan favourite is Medik8’s Crystal Retinal Ceramide Eye, which comes in three strengths and starts from a more reasonable £42.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
