As Sylvester Warren arrives in Poplar under the guise of Joyce’s cousin, the truth quickly unravels to reveal that he is, in fact, her husband. The revelation sends shockwaves through the community as it becomes apparent that Joyce had fled to England to escape from an abusive past, going so far as to change her name in an attempt to evade detection. Christopher Harper has made a number of guest appearances on Call the Midwife, reprising his role as Geoffrey Franklin, Trixie Franklin’s brother. Christopher first appeared in the series 12 finale of the show, during Trixie’s wedding. Soap fans will recognise Christopher from his portrayal of the villainous Nathan Curtis in ITV’s Coronation Street, a role he played from 2016 to 2018. Nathan Curtis was the sinister ex-fiancé of Bethany Platt, involved in grooming young girls into prostitution. He was eventually arrested and found guilty of rape. Christopher also notably portrayed Clifford Last in the BAFTA award-winning ITV film Housewife, 49, alongside roles such as Michael Cartwright in Holby City and Cecil Beaton in Upstairs Downstairs. His film credits include Birdsong, Apollo 13: The Dark Side of the Moon, and First Do No Harm. Miss Williams – Charlotte Lucas Charlotte Lucas is making a guest appearance as Miss Williams in upcoming episode 8. On screen, Charlotte Lucas has delivered compelling performances in television dramas such as Holby City, as Lexie Robbins, EastEnders, as Yvonne, and Broadchurch, as Sarah Elsey. She is best known for her role as Selena Geeson in Bad Girls. She also starred in the 2003 film Oh Marbella!. Victor Chopra – Rez Kempton
