Privacy NoticeLaura Tott married long-term partner Sean Clarke in a stunning ceremony at the gorgeous Tunnels Beaches venue in coastal Devon. The former First Dates waitress described the day as “unbelievable, incredible and wild” and there were lots of personal touches, especially when it came to her wedding breakfast. Laura and Sean had DIY decorations which represented each of the 12 years they’ve known each other. “We had a photo [on each table] that represented each year,” Laura, who turns 30 this week, told us. “We had jars of our favourite sweets and our guest book was actually a globe, because we met while travelling. It said Mr and Mrs Clarke on it and the date and we got gold pens for everyone to sign it.”

“We had jars of our favourite sweets and our guest book was actually a globe, because we met while travelling. It said Mr and Mrs Clarke on it and the date and we got gold pens for everyone to sign it.” The couple also instructed Sean’s stepdad to be their Master of Ceremonies, while Laura’s mum chose her stunning Paloma Blanca white gown. “When she handed it to me in a shop, I said, ‘I don’t think that’s really going to be for me,’” she told us.

“But my mother-in-law said, ‘If your mum’s picked one for you, just give it a go and try it on for her,’ and it ended up being the one! It was only the fifth dress I tried on.” As well as the sentimental nods to their relationship and personal touches, there was one theme the couple were keen to make prevalent on their big day – they desired one big party. And the celebrations kicked off straight after the ceremony. “Straight after the ceremony the saxophonist went into party mode with Sweet Caroline and everyone was up dancing,” she revealed. “That set the tone for the day and that’s before we’d even had our wedding breakfast!

“Then [after the wedding breakfast] we had Melvin Odoom from Radio 1. He was our DJ and we had our first dance overlooking the sea. My now husband surprised me with a Michael Jackson tribute, who was on for an hour. And we flew a five-piece Irish band in. I didn’t want there to be a dip at any point.” “She loves Michael Jackson more than she loves me,” Sean laughed. “I always said to her I wanted to do a little surprise for her. It got everyone on the dance floor doing the moonwalk.”
Nothing will top their incredible day

When we speak to the newlyweds they’re honeymooning in Kenya before heading to the Seychelles, but sum up their day as “unbelievable.” “It’s hard to put into words how amazing it was,” she said. “People say it’s the best day of your life and I don’t think anything will ever top that for us.” READ NEXT: First Dates’ Fred Sirieix overjoyed as daughter wins second Commonwealth medal Cici Coleman’s job outside of First Dates explained as Teen First Dates returns First Dates waitress Laura stuns as she marries beau Sean in beautiful Devon ceremony Proud dad Fred Sirieix rewards gold medal-winning daughter with trip to New York Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!’s daily newsletter.
